Steve Jesse
Managing Director
Steve has forty years in the commercial interiors industry, from humble YTS origins with Keysan Partitions in 1983, to Managing Director and owner of MIDDAS Interior Solutions.
In his vast experience within manufacturing, he has designed and engineered some of the most innovative performance-driven partition systems for an enviable portfolio of blue-chip projects and clients.
Steve founded MIDDAS in 2013 to do things differently to the norm and offer higher levels of quality and customer service. Since then, he has led the MIDDAS Team to push the boundaries of what is achievable and ensure that it continues to be one of the UK’s leading partitioning and specialist commercial interior product companies.

Prior to joining the MIDDAS team, he was a consultant for Deloitte before co-founding one of the world’s most iconic music & media brands, fabric London.
With exceptional experience of managing start-ups and dealing with the challenges of growing a business to scale, Cameron joins the executive team in leading the strategic direction for MIDDAS. His primary focus is on the sales, marketing and service excellence that MIDDAS prioritises as a central goal.
Dr Joe Giordano MRICS MCIPR
Non-Executive Director
Joe is a chartered Quantity Surveyor who has spent his career advising banks and developers on some of the largest projects in the UK and Europe. He brings over 20 years of experience to MIDDAS in areas such as business generation and growth strategy, and has a passion for understanding a client brief to deliver the required expectations.
Joe sits on the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor’s Construction iSurv editorial board, helping to develop knowledge centres for its 100,000+ members. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, providing support and mentorship to a number of high-level business leaders.
Joe currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of MIDDAS Interior Solutions. His other directorships include property development, construction advisory, due diligence, legal practice and funding organizations. He is also a past owner and director of Torquay United Football Club and in 2011 was accepted into the Freedom of the City of London.
Ian Tonks
Technical Manager
Ian has over 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, mostly within demountable partitioning manufacturing. He started as a CNC apprentice in machine programming and operation before progressing into production control and quality management. Eventually, the passion for engineering took him into an R&D role, a position which saw him leading on third party testing to meet British and European standards for structural, acoustic and fire performance requirements.
Between 2012 to 2013, he was heavily involved in testing some industry firsts for demountable partitioning such as a 1-hour and 2-hour fire rating for a 5m high wall. This development brought accolades from International Fire Consultants founder, Peter Jackman. The 5m fire rated wall was the first partition wall to achieve ACPO BR4 accreditation and the first glazed walk-on ceiling panel testing to achieve ACR(M)001:2011 classification. This passion has come with him to MIDDAS and he now leads our technical department, carrying out the testing and product development for our systems.
Stuart Tonks
Manufacturing Design Engineer
Stuart began his career in the partitioning industry back in 2010. Within two years, he transferred to the newly established Middle Eastern arm of his previous company in Qatar as Design Manager, overseeing major projects such as the Skilled Nursing Facility in Doha, Sheik Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre in Kuwait and the design and fit out of the Doha Metro rail line.
Following a successful four years in the Middle East, Stuart was offered a position launching a laser profiling start-up company within a steel toll processing site. Ultimately though, the desire to be back in design was too strong, so when the opportunity at MIDDAS presented itself, Stuart jumped!
Dave Haynes
Manufacturing Manager
Having never been out of full-time employment since leaving school, Dave has covered a variety of sectors and roles, achieving an NVQ in Supervisory Management through Oxford University along the way.
Since arriving back at MIDDAS, Dave has brought with him his passion for manufacturing and distributing quality products with the help of our workforce. When not scheduling work through the factory or managing stock levels he can often be found ‘hands on’ to ensure the MIDDAS attitude to quality is maintained.
When not at MIDDAS, which isn’t very often, Dave tries to spend time with his grand children and takes them paddle boarding and kayaking. He can also, occasionally, be seen running down hills in fancy dress as part of the MIDDAS soap box team, who came 2nd in only their second event.
