MIDDAS ACHIEVES 60/60 FIRE RATING ON VISION PANELS FOR THIRD PARTY WALLS

Earlier this month, we successfully fire tested our large format vision panels with a wraparound frame to achieve a 60/60 rating for integrity and insulation.  The fire test certificate is now available in our Knowledge Hub.

The 1200mm x 2100mm triple glazed test specimen was designed for integration into a 100mm deep third-party plasterboard stud wall.  The vision panel was installed into a 3000mm x 3000mm test rig by our technical team.  The fire resistance test was conducted in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987: Clause 10 with our test partner The Building Test Centre.
