MIDDAS FREE-STANDING PODS

MIDDAS Free-Standing Pods have been installed for critical activities (temperature, acoustic and environmentally controlled) within a major Automotive facility here in the UK. The MIDDAS Free-Standing Pods have integral framework that is designed to support distributed services, the MIDDAS pod cap and suspended ceiling below.

The MIDDAS pods can also be provided with integrated handrails and walk on ceilings offering clear spans up to 10m without the need or any secondary steel work. The pods can also be installed to heights of 10m with service zones designed to accommodate the HVAC and Process Services.

Our Pods are manufactured to size in Shrewsbury ready to install with factory formed cut outs for services and equipment, significantly reducing site construction activity and waste, assembly only. A further benefit of the MIDDAS structural framework is that services can be installed within it and form it before the finished panels and simply hung in place without any load being added to the building steelwork.
